RONALD I. GREENWALD "Ron" (82)  
Of Bethesda, MD, on August 10, 2016 at Casey House. Born August 7, 1934 in New York City. Beloved husband and soul mate of Margaret "Maggie"; adoring father of Madeleine "Maddy" Greenwald and Sarah Fleischer and sons-in-law, Eric Moss and Matt Fleischer. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Talia, Zachary, and Jake Moss and Spencer and Aaren Fleischer; loved brothers, Bud Weiss, Drew Greenwald; sister, Beth Greenwald; all of New York City, NY. Family will welcome visitors on Sunday, August 14 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 6305 Hollins Dr, Bethesda. Please bring a paragraph of remembrance to share. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph''s Indian School or a charity of your choice. Ron was caring, loving, gentle, and soft-spoken, a talented artist and photographer, a student of the civil war and appreciator of jazz. He had perfect pitch and could sing thousands of songs from memory. Ron worked as a civil engineer, city planner, administrator with government disability services, programmer, high school math teacher, and special ed teacher. During his many medical challenges, he had amazing fortitude and strength.  Micah (6:8) was his guide: "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
