I used to baby sit Michael and Melanie and I always had fond memories of Ronald and Susan Wynne. Ronald was a kind father and I liked him very much. A lovely family indeed. I just learned of his passing.

After child psychiatry residency, Ron Wynn offered me one of my first jobs as a raw recruit. Once, in supervision, he asked to see my CV. I still use that CV 30 years later! A kind, thoughtful, and intellectual man.

I didn´t realize Dr. Wynne had passed. I emailed him to thank him for changing my life by helping me understand a condition I had and what I needed to work through it and that because of his help, I´m doing well now. My heart goes out to the family, sending my deepest condolences for your loss.

For me this event is the end of my professional history with Ron, working on Nationally significant drug abuse research...we coauthored the first paper on Drug Misuse and the Elderly. He was cutting edge all the way. I moved to Maine a few years after leaving Wynne Assoc. and opened Maine's first whole grain bakery. Ron understood its significance. bye guy let the beat roll on!

I am so sad to hear that Ron died. He fought cancer successfully for a long time and, with Suzan's help, lasted a long time after he got it. I enjoyed talking to him at psychology workshops and we sometimes drove together to them. He was also a friend of the late Beryce McClellan.

I only knew Ron through playing music, mostly at Riderwood. I always enjoyed those sessions; he did a great thing in getting the musicians together to play for the residents. He was always interesting to talk to and cheerful, even with his health problems. I hope you can get strength from the good memories.

So sorry to learn of Ron's passing. Will miss him terribly, yes playing music at Riderwood, but mostly his generous spirit and sense of optimism. My condolences to everyone in the family. May his memory be a blessing.
