I wish to express my deep heartfelt sorrow for the lost of a wonderful friend and a unique man. He viewed the world in a special way and guided to manhood, three wonderful sons. I only recently found out of his passing. I know he had looked forward to an outstanding retirement of peace, security and time to enjoy his music. I pray that GOD will give all the family members the strength to endure your lost.

Over the years, Roscoe was more of a friend than a co-worker or a supervisor. He was always a gracious and thoughtful listener and eager to exchange ideas. I missed him after he retired, and now I'll miss him even more.

Mr.Dixon was always very easy to talk to and was always, always in a good mood. He seemed so quiet that when I heard he played in the band with Jerry Ramey, Mr Drake and Russ Daul from WHS/DIOR I was shocked. I never got to hear him play. Maybe he is playing in the heavenly band now. Mr. Dixon we miss you.

There ARE good people in the world and Roscoe was definitely one of them. He had good humor, great commonsense, and mostly treated others the way they deserved to be treated. Roscoe was a positive, patient mentor, and I'm proud to have known him. To his friends and family, I hope your memories of him are blessings and your grieving brief; he deserves to be remembered well.

It truly saddened me to hear of Dick's passing. I have enjoyed knowing him and especially those conversations we had in the Pentagon hallways when he would give me loving advice. I will always remember a special time when the band got together and he sang to Shirley "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind". It displayed such love for his wife and touched me deeply. My prayer is that God will sustain you Darin, Dwayne, Derrick and the rest of the family in this time of sorrow. God has him now and we know that he is in the BEST and most loving arms possible.

My condolences go out to the family of Mr. Dixon. Mr. Dixon in the time that I shared with him was most pleasant and encouraging. On a business level and as a friend he showed great wisdom and always knew what to say to me in a time of uncertainty. God bless the child and now he’s home at peace with the almighty father.

My deepest sympathy goes to Roscoe’s sons. Your father was my supervisor for eight years. During that time he was a mentor to me, he supported me when I needed him to and I always knew that I could go into his office and visit anytime. Roscoe cared deeply about those around him. He always took the time to inquire how my family was, how my golf game was going, and I enjoyed being a Redskin fan with him. Since his retirement in January I have missed him terribly. My heart is heavy and my eyes are watery but I know that he is home and looking down still mentoring me from above. God Bless Roscoe Dixon.
