Beloved wife of the late Hershel Kanovsky; devoted mother of Helen Kanovsky and Martin (Ellen Teller) Kanovsky; loving sister of Pearl Baker; cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Emily Dorfman and Eliza, Douglas and Alison Kanovsky. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2003, 1 p.m. at Congregation Beth El, 8215 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, MD 20814. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. Family will be observing Shiva following interment through Tuesday evening with minyan services 7:30 p.m. excluding Sabbath at the residence of Martin Kanovsky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Pl., S.W., Washington, DC 20024-2126.
