ROY P. SMITH
On Saturday, March 27, 2021 of Chevy Chase, MD. Born December 29, 1933 in New York, NY to the late Philip Smith and Virginia Collins Smith. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Wink Smith; devoted father of Matthew P. Smith (partner, Robbin Thyssen) and Jean S. Mohler (husband, David); cherished grandfather of David Jr., Smith and Elizabeth Mohler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 6900 River Road, Bethesda, MD at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Monastery of Poor Clares, 215 E. Los Olivos Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93105-3605.
