RUFUS BAKER Obituary
RUFUS D. BAKER
On Tuesday, October 2, 2012 of cancer. Beloved husband of Betty W. Baker; and loving father of Rebecca Swanson (Scott), Michael and Kenneth. He also leaves seven adored grandchildren, Shane, Kyle, Derek, Austin, Brittany, Katrina and Danielle; brother Everett Baker; nieces and nephews. Memorial Service on Saturday, October 13, 11 a.m. at Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, Silver Spring, MD. Interment in Colerain, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Bob and I have know the Bakers since the mid 1970's when both of their son's played baseball at the SSB&GC on the Midget team. We were sorry to hear of his illness and then of his going home to be with his maker. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time. God bless all of you.
