RUTH K. SHAPIRO
On Friday, October 20, 2017, RUTH KATZ SHAPIRO of Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Shapiro; devoted mother of Toby (Richard) Grayson of Baltimore, MD, Barbara (Ronnald) Shansby, and Judith (Kenneth Auerbach) Shapiro-Auerbach of Chevy Chase and Silver Spring, MD; cherished grandmother of Andrew (Helen) and Eric Shansby, Esther (Chayim) Zylbernagel and Sherilyn and Joellyn Auerbach. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 23, 1 p.m. at HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Interment Mt Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. Family will be observing Shiva at the late Shapiro residence on October 23 and October 24 from 7 to 9 p.m., October 25 from 3 to 9 p.m. and at the Shansby and Grayson residences on October 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to Jewish Council for the Aging or JSSA. Arrangements by HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, LLC., under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington Contract.
