To Mrs.Wilson and the Wilson family,
December 2023 I learned of your loss.
I met Scott in Charlotte,NC. the first week of December 1969.
He was very nice to me. He was fearless and a very competitive line backer !
When I first observed Scott´s picture .I thought, what a nice looking man !
Then my memory kicked in. " What happened to all that BLOND HAIR "
When we departed from Charlotte I never did see Scott again.
From the information I read.
He built a very impressive list of accomplishment.
Scott lived his life at the tip of the spear. A TRUE LEADER !

Mrs.Wilson and family, impressive is the only word I can think of Scott. I miss him so. Paul Sonosky, and I rode and first met him on the 11Y bus. Regards.

Scott was such a wonderful person. We met when I called on him as a financial advisor. He was always a gentleman. Getting to know Scott, it became clear he had a huge heart, nothing was more important than his family, and he had a sincere passion to help others. May God bless your family as he welcomed his son home. Rest In Peace friend.

I met Scott, when he was a student at NCSU and an intern at the NC General Assembly.
We enjoyed campaigning for political candidates. Also, we had great fun attending NCSU football games and tailgating with family and friends.
My twin sister, Linda Hill Archer, married his fraternity brother, the late Bill Archer. We had many "special" memories together.
Scott was a talented football player, engaged student, and community activist.
He was thrilled to join the staff of the late Senator Jesse Helms in Washington, DC.
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children. Also, my heartfelt sympathy goes to his Mother, sister, Jan, and her husband.
Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

I met Scott through my late husband Bill Archer who was a fraternity brother at NCSU Sigma Phi Epsilon. Scott was an outstanding NCSU football player, academically gifted, and a special friend to me and Bill. When my late husband passed away he came from afar to his funeral. A tribute to Bill and a blessing to me to see his caring, thoughtful, and kind ways in my dark hour of need. Bless him and may he rest in peace. Prayers go out to his Wife, children, Mother, sister and her husband, and many other family and friends. He will truly be missed. Linda H. Archer 7505 Wellesley Park South Raleigh, NC 27615

I am so sad to hear of Scott's passing. We were very close in our 20's. My heart goes out to Frankie and Jan and his wife and children. He was always full of life and knew how to have fun aside from working.

I was a friend of his back in Chapel Hill. I am so sorry to hear this bad news. I last spoke to him many years ago and he spoke highly of his wonderful family. I am sure he is truly missed by all. Best wishes to the family.

Mrs.Wilson and family I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Scott on the 11Y metro bus. I believe it was right after the 2000 election and I too want to say he was one of my all time best friends, what class he had and we
had our differing of opinion for sure,
but discussion was always brilliant!
I haven't forgotten him coming to our mother's visitation when she had passed. Not to mention the free and sound financial advice! Good bye my prince of a friend, for at
least right now, until we see each other again, and if I am certain of anything it is that. Paul Sonosky

So sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Graduated LSHS with him in 1970 and considered him a good friend, glad I saw him at the 40th reunion 5 years ago. Thoughts are with the family.

One of my dearest friends of all time...from 7th grade until his passing. He was truly a gentleman and a scholar, and a gentle leader from the time I first met him. Many expressions of sadness from his Lexington classmates have filtered through me. All are saddened by the passing of one among us who represented us all in the best way.
