I always enjoyed Sy's company. He was a great source of aluminum folklore when I joined the Aluminum Association. Sy and Margi were the life of every party!

Sy's friendliness made it easy to consider him a colleague. His articles in the Quarterly were lessons in vintage aesthetics. I certainly miss him.

Dear Marge and family - Sy was a great friend and colleague for so many of us in the health and safety field in the Aluminium industry. On a personal level, he was a mentor for me and a true leader and innovator who believed in scientific rigour. Suzanne and I have many fond memories of times spent with you both.
