SHELDON FINE Obituary


SHELDON FINE (Age 63)
Of Silver Spring, MD. passed away suddenly on October 3, 2014 at his residence in Vallejo, CA. He was born January 16, 1951 in Washington, DC to the late Max and Ann Fine. He retired from the Veterans Administration after 30 years of service as Fiscal Officer. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Fine Turman, niece Dina Abelman Caple; great-niece Lexi and great-nephews Noah and Dylan. Sheldon had a wonderful personality, sense of humor, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be missed by his family and his many friends across the country from east to west. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 26, at the residence of Barbara Turman 2 p.m. Donations may be made in Sheldon's name to the American Cancer Society.

My wife and I were long time friends of Shelly. We last spoke a month or so ago and were planning on meeting up sometime in the future. We would meet in Reno whenever I would be there for the national bowling tournament. Shelly was a great persona and a good friend. We will miss him greatly.
