I will remember Stephen as a trusted colleague friend and brother veteran since we first met in the ER at GW then as classmates when the physician assistant profession was still in its infancy and again at Laurel working in the ER. Steve was always cool and calm in the most challenging of situations. My sincere condolences to Linda and his family. It was a privilege to have known Stephen.

Steve was a mentor for me at the beginning of my physician assistant career. We bonded immediately over our shared history as Navy Corpsmen. I always appreciated his kindness, his wry sense of humor, and his wisdom. In my current work as a leader in our practice, I think of Steve's example frequently, and am sorry he is lost to us.

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Please know those we love remain with us for love itself lives on and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more that a thought apart for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart. May the God of comfort sustain you during your grieving process with the thought your love one will remain in God's memory.
