SUSAN AGGER Obituary

AGGER SUSAN LOEWY AGGER May 4, 1941 - June 19, 2017 Susan Loewy Agger, beloved wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, mother-in law, and aunt, died peacefully in her home on Monday, June 19. She was surrounded by family and friends. Born in Bucyrus, Ohio, Susan arrived from Weston, CT in Washington, DC with family in tow in 1978. She was married in 1982 to Donald G. Agger, who died in 1993. Her first marriage to Mark A. Weinstein, ended in divorce. In 2002 Susan married Dr. Richard Budson and together they lived in Washington, DC and Palm Beach Gardens, FL. A noted interior designer and member of ASID, Susan was one of the founders of the interior design firm FWB & Co. She continued in the design business until last year and was known for her elegant taste with a special gift for color and texture. Her most notable accomplishment and how she would have preferred to be remembered, was her devotion to and pride she took in her very large family. She was the matriarch who loved to bring everyone together. She was wise and loyal, loving and kind to everyone. She will forever be missed by her husband Richard, her two devoted daughters Lisa W Munsat (Peter) of Washington, DC, Paula W. Simon of Bethesda, MD, her brother John Loewy (Polly) of Denver, CO. Step-children, David Agger (Sharon) of Wellfleet, MA, Sam Agger (Paula)of Silver Spring, MD, Marc Agger (Francesca)of Brooklyn Heights, NY, April Callahan of Winnetka, IL, Andrew Budson (Amy) of Newton, MA, Victoria Budson of Wellesley, MA. and her Grandchildren, Lila Greenwood, Talia and Phoebe Simon, Jesse, Hallie and Jake Munsat, Sam, Maya, Max, Charlotte, Rose, Jake, Tom, Joe, Oliver, Fiona and Christopher Agger and Erin, Patrick and Colleen Callahan, Leah and Danny, Abraham and Alexandra Budson and a brood of nieces and nephews. A private celebration of Susan's life will be held in the Fall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's honor may be made to Community Hospice of Washington, DC or Compassionandchoices.org.
