TAREK KHALIL Obituary
TAREK MOHAMED KHALIL
Tarek Mohamed Fawzy Khalil of Gaithersburg, Maryland (May Allah have mercy on him) passed away from a sudden heart attack on October 24, 2021 in his native Egypt. Tarek graduated from Cairo University's Department of Commerce and worked for several multinational companies in the Middle East. He immigrated to the United States in the mid-1990s and settled in Maryland so his son Ahmed, who is deaf, could get an excellent education. Tarek began working at low-paying jobs and quickly moved up to a long and successful career in the financial industry. He leaves behind his son Ahmed, also of Gaithersburg, his mother, brother, sister and many other relatives in Egypt. He also leaves behind countless friends in the United States who will miss his intellectual curiosity, his wonderful sense of humor, his great advice to friends and customers, his smile, his laugh and tender soul. The funeral was held in Cairo, Egypt on October 24, 2021.
