THOMAS DIXON JR. (Age 81)
On Friday, November 11, 2016, Thomas "Tom" Dixon Jr. of Bowie, Maryland departed this life for his eternal home. Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley; children, Deidre and Rodney; sister, Mildred Hicks (Florida); and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held Friday, November 18 at Reid Temple AME Church, 11400 Glenn Dale Blvd., Glenn Dale, MD. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity. Thomas and I first met at Kenner Army Hospital at Ft Lee Va. One of the nicest people I have ever met.
