Died peacefully at home on December 11, 2005. Beloved husband of E. Sally Heflin; loving father of Thomas B. Heflin and wife Susan, Sharon E. Palmer and husband James, Gary K. Heflin and wife Carol, Gail P. Vermillion and husband Raymond; adored grandfather of Emily, Addie, Thomas and Beth Anne Heflin, Sharon Brooks, Brandy Roberts, Megan Heflin, Michael and Jonah Lawson and Brittney Vermillion. His is also survived by one sister Virginia Rump; his brother Gary Heflin. He is preceded in death by one brother W. Oscar Heflin. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, December 16, at Jehoash Presbyterian Church, 3046 Tenerife Rd., Catlett, VA, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Catlett Cemetery.
