THOMAS H. KENNEDY  
Thomas H. Kennedy, 77, died peacefully on July 2, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on November 10, 1943 to Hall and Gladys Kennedy. He spent most of his childhood in Indianapolis, IN. After serving in the Army, he attended IU and graduated with a BS in business in 1971 and a JD in 1974. He earned a CPA and worked at several large accounting firms while working his way through law school. Tom had a lifelong love of higher education. He earned a Master of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University in 1976, an MBA in International Business and a Master of Laws with highest honors from George Washington University, both in 1978. He earned a Doctorate in Business Administration from NOVA Southeastern University in 1992 and earned an MS in Information and Telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University in 2002. Tom's career included a private law practice and eventually working for the Department of Defense as Director of Acquisition/Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting for the National Guard. After retiring from the Federal Government he also worked for Mitre Corporation and at Millennium Corporation. Tom and his wife, Patricia, traveled throughout the world. Memorable trips included India, China, Cuba, Egypt, Israel, Russia, Peru, and most of Europe. Tom is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Caroline Voss, son Michael Voss (Andrea), grandchildren Charlotte and James, and daughter Nadine. Also left to mourn are brothers William (Laurissa), Gary, Dennis, and sister Mary Kathryn, as well as many nieces and nephews. Tom loved animals and his cats Dexter and Jason will miss him. Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate his life.
