TPL was a great neighbor and friend growing up here in Bellview. He was older than me but he never even held it against me when he and the other older kids dug a ditch out here in the yard to play army and they wouldn't let me play in it so his dad told them if I couldn't play in it he made them fill it back in. He will be truly missed and I am very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Claudia, I can't tell you how saddened I was by the news of Tommy's passing. I vividly remember running into him one day in DC when we both worked there, and he always had the greatest smile. He always had a story and always made me laugh. His kindness, his laughter, and his just down to earth personality will surely be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of his passing through their lives. I send all my love and prayers to you and your family. Love, Rosemary Lucente Herron

Mary and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Tommy. We last saw him at Gevony's wedding and although he knew of his diagnosis, he didn't dwell on the subject, but to the contrary, he was just "Tommy", his usual vibrant and fun loving the whole weekend. It was our pleasure knowing him and being a small part of his life since Fairmont State.

I like Barry Vingle, grew up in Bellview and in Barnes School with Tommy. He was always easy going and even tempered unlike so many of the neighborhood kids.
