THOMAS G. LYTLE
Passed away February 8, 2011. Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN; son of George and Kathryn Lytle; brother to Raymond, Richard and Geraldine Lytle. Former WWII Solider; husband to Mary Lytle; father of Katherine Roark, Elizabeth Chandler and Thomas Lytle Jr.; grandfather to Brooke Chandler, Tim, Caleb and Daniel Roark, Connor, Ryan and Garret Lytle. He lived the last part of his life in the metro area of Washington DC; first in Cheverly, MD and then Springfield, VA where he stayed until his death at about 8:40 p.m. Being a life long Christian, Thomas G. Lytle will have a local visitation at the DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA on Wednesday February 23, 2011 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a visitation room service at 3:30 p.m. He will then be transported for services at the First Baptist Church of Chattanooga, TN on Monday February 28, 2011 at 11 a.m., followed by a military service and burial at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Thomas loved his wife Mary and was a wonderful provider for his family. His life; as was his wife's was long and full, they were a memorable pair.
