My Grandpa was a saint. More than an role model, his company created a feeling of comfort and understanding. Hearing about and witnessing his strength and humorous personality taught me how to get the most out of what's really important in life. I'm fortunate and thankful to be a part of this family. I miss him so much and will hold on to our memories with him along with the knowledge that we will see him in that perfect place.

I have known Tom since 1965 when we were both Career Trainees in the CIA. His wit and gift of gab were second to none, courtesy doubtless of his Irish heritage. It was an honor and privilege to have known him.

Tom and I shared a room together during his contract years. Wonderful guy.
He was one the best writers I have ever met.
And he could write some very humorous fiction when the mood struck.

Sweet Father - thank you for all the love and support you have given me over the years, for believing in me, for always providing for us "kids", and for being the ultimate example of a generous father. I will treasure our own unique bond and how we shared our "medical journeys" with one another. I will enjoy the memories of our routine post-procedure brekkies at the Amphora and for you giving me the honour of being a nurse for you. Thank you for walking me down the aisle at my wedding and for the blessing you gave to my late in life marriage. Like Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, you have fought the good fight and finished the race and kept the faith. You endured so much pain, but then you slipped out of this earthly life peacefully. I loved how you lived out your retirement just how you wanted to, enjoying your morning coffee and the paper, mowing the lawn, paying your bills (the old fashioned way) at the post office, watching your sports and Fox news and your many trips to Ireland. All at a leisurely pace. Now you can enjoy your pain-free spirit body and your reunions with your parents, brothers, other ancestors and friends and of course, Bronwyn! What a wonderful moment seeing her again that must have been! Say, Fath - be sure to pop in and visit us sometime after you are all settled in!

This man sacrificed everything for his family. His children are just like him. May he rest in peace in the presence of God.
