THOMASINE THOMPSON Obituary


Sister THOMASINE THOMPSON, SAC  Religious Sister and Teacher  
On Friday, April 20, 2012, of Laurel, MD, died at Howard County General Hospital. The cause of death was intestinal bacterial infection. She was 93 of the late Catherine and Walter Thompson. She is survived by four sisters, Margaret, Mary, Rose and Patricia and pre-deceased by Edward, Joseph, John, Catherine and Claudia. Sister's teaching assignments took her to MD, WV, MO, MI and PA. Notable among her assignments was her role as teacher-principal at St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, MD, from 1968-1975. She was a member of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters for 77 years. Before entering the Pallottine Community she attended St. Anthony High School in N.E. Washington, D.C. Wake Wednesday April 25, 3 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707 where Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 26 at 11 a.m. Burial church cemetery.
