Tyler didn't have to offer any encouraging words, but he did so anyway at the office when my contract wasn't renewed. I was surprised when he pulled up a chair and asked how I was doing. We were coworkers, but rarely had lengthy conversations. He sincerely just wanted to check on a guy who was in a difficult situation, then he shared stories about having to take jobs like licking envelopes to pay the bills. He was the voice telling me I'll bounce back and be better off in the long run. Wow, was he right. Tyler was a good man. I'll never forget him reaching out that day. He's the reason why I reach out to others when I see them struggling. It's not fair that he developed ALS. But his family should know that while he was on earth, he really made this a better place. I pray that God comforts you and reminds you that Tyler is with Him, and you will see Tyler again.

I had the pleasure to work with Tyler at KOCO-TV 5 in Oklahoma City. Always positive and we talked music all the time. One of the good guys. Taken too soon, you'll be missed brother! My condolences to all of you, may you find peace in remembering how wonderful he was.

Tyler was one of the true genuine good people out there. I had the pleasure to get to know him through our church at St. Marys. Tyler was smart, athletic, and a man of strong Faith. He always would lend a helping hand and I´ll never forget the time he took to guide me through preparations for a job interview I had to be a part of the Executive team at one of the organizations he worked for. Tyler took time out from his already busy schedule to spend time with me. He embodied great love for others and community. I send heart felt condolences and prayers to his family during this difficult time. Gone too soon but not forgotten. Our St. Marys family are all blessed to have had Tyler as part of our church family. May he rest in peace with no more pain as I know he will continue to serve God and help guide us from up above.

I am so sorry for your loss and I hold all of Ty's family and friends in my prayers. I got to know Ty at St. Mary's and found him to be such a warm, witty, and caring man. We both had a love of sports and Ty would always give me a fist bump as I walked past his pew after communion at Sunday service. It always made me smile. I will miss him dearly. My deepest sympathies and I wish you peace and comfort.

Tyler fought the good fight after getting a devastating diagnosis. He participated in clinical trials for ALS, and despite the sadness of his loss, his family should be proud of how he handled a terrible disease. Because of his courage and tenacity, and that of many like him, the research into ALS continues to advance. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Tyler was such a lovely man. He made everyone around him feel welcome and never had an unkind word to say. I only had the pleasure of working with him at CTA for a short period, but his smile, kind words and friendship have endured.
Such a kind man - gone too soon.

I want to say how sorry I am for your loss and how even someone who did not know him well at St Mary's felt his presence. I remember chatting with him at coffee hour from time to time and always appreciating his steady presence in the parish community. It gave us all ground to stand on. Thank you for sharing him with us and for the light he spread. He will be missed and we all pray for him, you and your whole famil

Tyler and I attended St. Stephen's School together in Alexandria, Virginia back in the mid 1980s. He was known to everyone there as a kind person who was always smiling. Tyler was liked by everyone and it is no surprise that he has had a career where he could bring his bright smile and warm personality into the homes of many. A good man who has left us far too soon. God speed, Tyler!

Tyler was a wonderful guy. Smart, cheerful, and positive. He was a man of faith and strength. I served with him at St. Marys and found him to be a wise and humble man. His excellent education and thoughtful persona made him shine. He was most of all, abundantly kind. I will miss him dearly.

Tyler and I worked together at Clean Skies News/ABC7
He was a role mode, always warm and kind, polished and professional.
I was reminded this week of something his football coach told him that he shared with me at the gym one day after work...Sometimes there is no Want To...
as I lamented another slog on the treadmill...
