STROBEL, VERNON EDWARD, SR.

On Sunday August 7, 2005 of Berlin, MD, formerly of Oxon Hill, MD and Washington, DC. Loving and devoted husband of the late Frances Strobel; beloved father of Joan Elizabeth Donovan, Vernon E. "Skip" Strobel, II and Michael Wayne Strobel; brother of Thelma Evelyn Lemmon and the late George E. Strobel; grandfather of Steven F. Long, Sandra E. Edger, Kimberly and Krystyna Strobel; great-grandfather of Vincent, Ashley, Alita and Little Steven; close, dear friend of Rose Marie Watson and her grandson, John. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Thursday, August 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 12 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
