David,
Your University of Maryland Family offers prayers of comfort for you and your family. It was a privilege to worship with you this morning at the beautiful and Spirit-filled memorial service for you Dad.
Remember Paul's letter to the Romans - "nothing can separate us from the love of God....not life, or death, or life beyond death". Love is forever.

Dearest Shaketa, David and Daniel, I pray in the name of Jesus that you are comforted by the love and support of all your family members and each other more than ever before. Be comforted by the fact that Victor knew the Lord and was a Christian Soldier too! I suspect that God had plans for him in Heaven sooner than was expected. He is now in the arms of the Lord, resting peacefully, and I pray for whatever is needed to bring you comfort during this time and always. God bless. Love, Patty Grant

To Shaketa, David and Daniel,
Our prayers and condolences are with you as you prepare to celebrate your husband and father's life and honor his homegoing. Victor was an integral part of the Mount Horeb Baptist Church Family for many years and leaves many memories and friends. You've been in our thoughts and prayers from the very beginning. We will continue to pray for you while God comforts and strengthens you and gives you peace that passeth all understanding.
In Christ,
