Virgil Willis Wright (Age 91)
Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 19, 2021, of Prince Frederick, MD. Formerly of Rockville MD. Beloved husband of Betty Wright; father of Michael Wright (Cathy Wright) and Stephanie Corley (Trey Corley) and daughter-in-law Marcia Wright; grandfather of Laurie Digges (John), Angela Harris (Sloane), Andrew Wright, Carrie Fox (Wes), Mark Wright Jr (Laura), Michael Corley (Amanda), Nicholas Corley, Stephen Corley, Linnay Corley, and Melissa Brown (Tom); great grandfather to 14 beloved great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Karen Teasdale and Donna Williams and his many beloved nieces and nephews along with countless great/great great nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his beloved son Mark Wright, Sr.; his parents Virgil Wright Sr. and Della Mae Wright of Bellaire, OH; sisters Flo Harmon and Geraldine Holloway; brother Gerald Wright; His mother and father in-law Joseph and Angela DiStefano. Family and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday January 2, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Monday, January 3, at St. Patrick's Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.www.CollinsFuneralHome.com
