VIVIAN CATHERINE THOMPSON
Vivian Catherine Thompson, "Viv," passed from this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the home of her daughter, Celeste in Huntingtown, Maryland. She was 93 years old.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ben; son Ben Thompson, Jr. (Mary); son-in-law Michael Ford and best friend Lannah Lombardi.
She is survived by her daughters Celeste Ford (Michael) and Diane Restorff (Dean); grandchildren Denise Kalin, Tammy Shahan, Missy Niemi, Robin St. Laurent, Benjamin Thompson III, Rebecca Halpin and Jenna Halpin; great-grandchildren, Samantha Berlin, Daniel Thurman, Lindsey Holl, Summer Thurman, Megan Rezadoost, Ryan St. Laurent, Allie St. Laurent, and Oren Thompson; great-great grandchildren, JJ. Rezadoost, Savannah Berlin, Jensen Berlin, Jackson Berlin, Shelby Thurman, Max Thurman, Harper Holl, and Holden Holl. Whew…
Vivian was born and grew up in Washington, DC. She and Ben were married in 1949. Together, they enjoyed bowling, tennis, fishing, crabbing, canoeing, bocce ball, bridge, poker, and travelling. Vivian and Ben loved their time at Ocean Resorts and were year-round residents for their final years.
A private interment will be held in February in Vero Beach. Memorials may be made to Calvert Hospice: https://calverthospice.org/make-a-gift.
