Warren was a dear friend to all of us who were close colleagues with him during our years at the AP. Because we worked next desk to each other for several years, he was a constant source of encouragement, information about the most complicated scientific developments, and hilarity over the absurd events of the time. Beyond the AP, Warren and Jeanne became the friends to count on when support was needed and the friends to share delightful meals and great conversation with over many years. Jeanne, my heart goes out to you during these sad days.

Warren was a kind and astute gentleman. A fine journalist and a good mentor. Jeanne, I´m so very sorry he died too young. May peace be with you.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood friend Warren. We grew up in St. Benedict's Parish, attended the grade school. We both graduated Sacred Heart High School. Through the years I knew of his accomplishments and milestones from mutual friends. I occasionally came across his newspaper articles. I was blessed to have known him. Rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to his family. Theresa
