Of Springfield, VA, died June 21, 2005 after a long illness. A memorial service will be held sometime in August at Bethel Presbyterian Church, near Staunton, VA. A native of Middlebrook, VA, Mr. Cale served from 1942 to 1945 in the U.S. Army Air Corps. After graduating from Unviversity and Seminary, he served as pastor at Oakdale Presbyterian Church, near Clover, S.C. He later moved to Virginia to pastor Covenant Presbyterian Church in Woodbridge. In 1966 he began work as a rehabilitation counselor with the visually impaired with the D.C. Department of Human Services, retiring in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Lois, and a daughter, Joanne and two sisters, Anne Cale of Staunton, VA and Frances Barrell of Crozet, VA. Donations may be made to Bealeton Presbyterian Church, Bealton, VA 22712 in lieu of flowers.
