I use to jam with Bill in the early 70s when I was a teenager. He was a superb guitar player. I can still visualize him playing is Les Paul. I wasn't much of a bass player, but Bill didn't mind. Such a nice person. Playing with him is one of my fondest memories. Condolences to family and friends. Jeremy Greenwood

Bill, I remember when we were 2 of the 5 people who came on the Shenandoah River trip in 1991. Had to do tubing instead of canoeing-it was fun! Su Rosenberg

I will miss my good friend Bill Colona. He was always there to help me when I needed help and that is a debt I can now never repay. Sit in with the Angel Band and we will meet again someday!
