William Hefferin Obituary
HEFFERIN WILLIAM J. HEFFERIN, SR. On Friday, December 18, 2009. Husband of the late Barbara A. and Dorothy A. Hefferin; father of William J. Hefferin, Jr., Paul M. Hefferin, Sr., Donna J. Munoz and the late Sue Ann Hefferin; stepfather of Craig and Keith Balderson; brother of Catherine Neal, Mary Graff, Joseph, Ruthie, Ray, David and the late John, Robert, Regis, Edward, Margaret and James Hefferin. Son of the late Patrick and Catherine Hefferin and son-in-law of the late Harold and Margaret Stouffer. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Hefferin served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1950 followed by nearly 40 years of service with Giant Food. Relatives and friends may call at BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, 4400 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville, MD, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church, 11007 Montgomery Rd., Beltsville, MD on Wednesday, December 23 at 10 a.m. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Rapidan, Inc., 763 Madison Rd., Suite 203, Culpeper, VA 22701.

Bill was a very friendly man who would help anyone. You will be missed. Thanks again for the popsicycle rocker and salt and pepper table. They will be cherished. Bill rest in peace until we meet again.

Your Dad will be missed by folks here on the mountain. I consider myself blessed to have know him if only for a short while. I"m sorry I am unable to come to the funeral but I will be there in spirit. If there is anything I can do 4 u all like check the house to make sure it is secure or anything else please let me know. Please call me when you come to the Mt. as I would love to see you all & share some of my memories of your Dad with you. Phone # is 540 543 2013. My deepest sympathies. I worked at Giant in the Transportation department when Bill was the Manager of Fleet Maintenance.
