I´m very sorry to hear this news. Bill was a great man, generous with friends and family. I have many wonderful memories of Bill, Anita, the children especially Jill, and many seasons of coaching our daughters in youth soccer. What sad news! My sincere condolences.

His passing so unexpectedly, is deeply saddening. He is so missed.
I did not know Bill well, except at Saturday Sojos, where he was always so warm and real ,and his music talents were obvious. And so, Bill was universally liked.
My thoughts are with his family in their deep loss, hoping you are consoled.

I first met Bill when I was first trying to play out at area open mics, and even though I wasn't any good (and will never be anywhere near as good as Bill), he always treated me as though I belonged there anyway. He was all the motivation I needed to work harder at it. Also, he always made the Sing Out Jam Out Meetup sessions better, plus the Shenandoah Run Shows and the Acoustic Cafe shows at Walter Reed Community Center. He was taken from us far too soon by such a horrible illness. His passing brings such sadness, but the fact that I ever got to know him in the first place makes me happy. Gotta dwell on that last part. He was such a nice guy.

Bill was a great protector of the Potomac River, but the obituary reminds me also of him joining the band at the Potomac Riverkeeper Network Gala at Hamilton´s and singing a song with the band. What a great memory of Bill in his prime!

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I knew him from many years of playing together at SOJO. His musical ability and love of music were always marvelous, but even more so were his friendliness and good humor. The room brightened when he came in. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Bill will be missed.
