William Matthew Noonan (Age 78)
On Friday, March 24, 2023, of Bethesda, MD and Delray Beach, FL. Beloved husband of Shredia Noonan; father of Matthew Noonan; grandfather of Sarah and Will Noonan; son of the late Francis P. and Henrietta D. Noonan; brother of Patrick, Maureen, Michael Noonan, and Kathleen Grady. Retired Montgomery County Sheriff Captain. Florida State Seminole graduate and cherished friend of all that knew him. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 5949 Western Ave. NW, Washington, DC, on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. EST . Visitation Prior to Mass at 10:15 a.m. EST. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shepherd Foundation at www.theshepherdfoundation.org.

I have so many good memories of Mr. Noonan coming to hang with my dad (Tim Costello) many of those time was to go play golf. Growing up I remember thinking he was so cool being a police officer. He cared so much for me and my family. He would always call to check on my parents periodically. He continued to do so even when my dad passed to check on my mom. He was a man that lead with his heart. Always appreciated his kindness and jokes. My Dad and him are up in heaven playing golf, cracking jokes and goofing around I'm sure. He will be missed.
