Yvette, I will truly miss all the great times we spent together, especially the liturgical dances and Praise 150. And I truly enjoyed performing in your play as Aunt Millie - it was fun and I thought I would never learn my part. :) I will never forget you - and may the Lord watch between you and me while we are separated one from the other - Amen.

I remember as if it were yesterday when Yvette met with me and the director of music at Alfred Street Baptist Church to discuss becoming the
director of the junior Gospel Inspirers because I was moving to North Carolina.I could hear the delight in her voice as she talked about teaching young folks to sing. We ended with Yvette lifting up a powerful prayer. It was exciting for me to see from afar how she ministered in music, by taking the choir to another level. You are blessed to have had such a phenomenal, wife, mother & daughter in your life.
I know she's singing with the heavenly Gospel Choir, "What a Mighty God we Serve."
You will always be remembered in my prayers.

Another sweet angel has ascended to heaven. Yvette and I performed in many musical productions, but one that stands out, Ain't Misbehavin' by the Theater Alliance of the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop(1997), singing "That Ain't Right". Yvette poured her heart out in that production and that's the way I'll remember her, a vibrant beautiful spirtit with a God given talent. My prayers will continue to be with the family as you celebrate her life on tomorrow...gone too soon.

My deepest sympathy to the Manson family in their time of grieving. Yvette was indeed a very nice and talented lady, I remember when she was a member of Redeemer Church, she lead the choir, she loved children and music, I remember so clear that she sang for my husband funeral, and would not take a penny for her devine deed, this is what Yvette is made of, kind, devoted, and a songbird from God. Yvette is already missed,I know she is already singing for God and all the Angels. Stay strong family, as that is what Yvette would want.

I will always miss my cousin Yvette. She was more then an angel, she helped raise my sister and I by spending time with us every weekend, taking us on family trips, giving us guidance and introducing us to christ in a major way for fifteen years. Once you met Yvette you would never forget her. She left that impression on you through her talents, her personality, her voice and mainly her heart. She had a spirit bigger than life. She loved her family and the children she directed musically and liturgically over many years with an unbelievable committment. She was a motherly spirit and an honest soul. I will be forever thankful to her for giving me confidence, support, self respect and learning more then anything to love who I am, just the way I am. With all my heart and mind I will always miss and love you cousin Yvette!
