My prayers and condolences go out to the family. I met Zawdie at Jewels of Ann Elementary school where his father Mr. Proctor was my favorite teacher. I remember Zawdie his mother and his sister very well. Mr. Proctor I am very sorry for the lost of your son. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Although I haven't seen you all in years. Your family was one I could never forget.

I have been a close family friend for over 10 years. In that time Zawdie has been a big brother to me, as his sisters Asha and Trayah have become my own sisters. Zawdie is also the God-father to my 5 year old daughter Rayna. I only wanted to add that Zawdie was an inspiration and a source of strength for me. It was a natural decision in making him the Godfather of my first child. He is the most courageous person I have had the pleasure and honor in knowing. I love Zawdie very much. I have been so privileged and honored in sharing his life. I continue to live my own life through his legacy. I will always keep his spirit within me and in my daughter.
May God keep you and bless you always…
All my love,
Ren

Ms. Donna,
I know I can speak for the entire Landover MS Support Group (led by our very own 'Jackie'), by saying Zawdie will truly be missed by us all. He held a very special place in our hearts! The precious memories of the pool parties, the joy of fellowshipping, and seeing 'Z' delight in that water will forever remain with us.
Stay strong in the Lord Jesus, and know that Zawdie is not gone forever. He will live on within the depths of your heart. He will continue to watch over you, as you did so well with him, and when the time comes to be you shall certainly see him again!!

I did not know of Zawdie but I am a Multiple Sclerosis patient myself and can imagine the courage and positive outlook that was displayed to others during his treatment. I am truly sorry of your lost but God knows best for all of us. Take care and God bless this entire family.

We extend our sincere sympathy to each of you. We know that the loss is very great. But, just try to think of only the sweet memories that you shared, the games you played, trips, the sweet little things that he said and did. You were and continue to be a role model for a mother. We pray that you accept this phase of Zawdie's life as GOD's WILL AND PLAN.
