Adam Vaudt Obituary

Vaudt, Adam N.

Adam N. Vaudt, 28, Weston died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Ascension- St. Clares Hospital, Weston, of diabetes related complications. Adam was born December 30, 1987 to Steve and Eileen (Orn) Vaudt in Waconia, Minnesota. He was employed with Wausau Coated Products.

Adam could be pleasantly stubborn but had a big heart and cared for people a lot. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and was a strong Christian figure to them. Even his nieces and nephews were well loved by Adam, oftentimes treating them as their big brother. Being very active he enjoyed golf, basketball, and bowling. Road trips with his brothers were a favorite pastime, along with tailgating from his van, cheering on the Brewers and the Vikings. Adam was an avid bobble head collector. He found playing cards with family and friends enjoyable. During the Christmas season Adam took pride in decorating his home with lights and even helping family and friends with theirs.

Survivors include his wife, Cassy and his daughter, Ava; his father and mother, Rev. Steve and Eileen Vaudt; two brothers, Aaron (Jen) Vaudt and their son, Logan and Andrew Vaudt; his sister, Amanda and her daughter, Kaelyn; Grandparents, Lester and Esther Orn, Ella Vaudt and John and Joan Schlicht and William and Mryna Snow; father and mother -in-law, Curtis and Julie Snow; two brothers-in-law, Dean Snow and Brent (Sandra) Snow and their daughter, Satori; a sister-in-law, Alexandra (Kyle) Vertz; and Adams award winning dog, Elliot.

I can remember when the Vaudt family first came to our church and we had them all for supper. Adam was probably around 3 or 4......but was having such a good time that he hid his shoes so he could stay longer. It was inspiring to watch him grow up to be such a nice person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My love and prayers go out to Cassy and Ava and families. I worked with Adam in "home" dept. at Kohl's in Grafton. We worked closing shifts and he was like a son to me. I was "up" and he was "Adam". I will miss him and keep those memories.

Cassy, Ava, Pastor Steve, Eileen, Aaron, Amanda and Andrew: Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. He was a very special person with a true Christ-like persona. We are so happy for him as we know where he is and who he is with.

We will see you either on Sunday or Monday. Till then, stay strong in Christ, as he alone knows why it was now that he wanted Adam.
