Andrew Immel Obituary
Andrew P. Immel, age 30, of Merrill, passed away accidently on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Andrew was born on January 19, 1987, in Shawano, son of Paul Immel and Pamela Allen. Andrew was currently in the apprenticeship program at Reindl Printing, Merrill. Andrew enjoyed playing guitar and had played in several bands throughout the state of Wisconsin. He enjoyed motorcycling and four wheeling, skateboarding, and music. Andrew was a fun loving guy who his friends nicknamed "Goose". Andrew's great joy came from being a loving father to his one year old daughter Emma Grace.
Andrew is survived by his father, Paul (Nancy) Immel, Merrill; his mother, Pamela Toppel, Tomahawk; his fiancée, Katrina Miller, Merrill; his daughter, Emma Grace Immel, Merrill; two sisters, Liz Immel, Oregon, and Melissa Immel, Wausau; his grandparents, Dorothy Allen, New London, and Kenneth (Marilyn) Immel, Larson, Wisconsin; and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service for Andrew will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Chaplain Ray Slatton will officiate. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.

It's amazing how the years have passed and you've always remained a special friend. You truly had a heart of gold. You were the best dad I've ever seen, and a friend we all were lucky to have. Talented, funny, kind, and caring, you were there for anyone when they needed it no matter their walk of life bringing a smile to anyone your were near. Your abscene will be constant but your wonderful presence never forgotten. Know that Katrina and Emma will always have a special place in my heart and toms and will be taken care of forever. I knew Andy through Reindl. Though I didn't work directly with him, whenever I saw him - he had a smile on his face. Everyone here spoke highly of him. It was a very sad and somber day at work when we heard the news. Seeing this photo of him with his daughter is heart-wrenching. May she always know how much he loved her and may God wrap his arms around all of Andy's family and friends during this difficult time. His Reindl family will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I never had the honor of meeting Andy.I only got to know of him through those who knew and loved him.One being his sister Elizabeth who was so proud of him and spoke so highly of him. She told of what a great father he was how much he loved his daughter and how patient he was with her.She also spoke of what great musical talent he had.May you find comfort in the legacy Andy has left, a beautiful daughter and the respect and admiration for all who knew and loved him.
