Marie Pestka Obituary
Marie H. Pestka, 73, of Wausau, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Friday, February 3, 2017.
Marie was born to the late John and Helen Green (Rossman) in Falun, WI. She married the love of her life, Donald F. Pestka on November 25, 1965. Marie enjoyed traveling, gambling, and being with friends and relatives, especially her grandchildren.
Marie is survived by husband, Donald F. Pestka; sons, Joseph E. Pestka of Arbor Vitae and James (Jessica) Pestka of Wausau; daughters, Terri (Mark) Baumann of Killeen, TX and Rhonda (Andrew) Steiner of Oak Creek; grandchildren, Abigail Steiner, Cameron Pestka and Riley Pestka; sisters, Evelyn Rufsholm, Freda Green and Barbara Moser; sister-in-law Loraine Green and many other relatives. Marie is preceded in death by several relatives.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Parish, 1104 S. 9th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home-Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston, WI 54476 and again on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
