HUDSON - Jane A. Stangeland, 69, of Hudson, IA, died on Friday, April 5, 2024, at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo, IA.
Jane was born on March 3, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of John H. and Luella G. (Main) Heasley. She grew up in rural Independence, IA, and attended the Rowley, IA school. She graduated from Independence High School in 1973 and went on to attend a Nursing School in Marshalltown, IA.
She is survived by a daughter; Rebecca (Kelly) Sanders, Ottumwa, IA, two grandchildren, her three great-grandchildren, a brother, Paul Emerick, Mesa, AZ, a sister, Kathy (Lance) Lange, Delhi, IA, several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, John and Luella Heasley.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Reiff Family Center – Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
