Patricia A Stangeland

Patricia A. Stangeland, 94, of Blairstown, passed away in Newton, NJ on May 28, 2024. Born on May 6th, 1930, in West Orange, NJ to the late Francis and Lucielle Quinn.
She retired in 1994 from Newton Memorial Hospital accounting department after 32 years. Her family came first and was her passion in life. Her hobbies included gardening, both plants and flowers and in her spare time enjoyed Sudoku puzzles.
Patricia is predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Karl J. Stangeland. She is survived by her four daughters, Nancy Gramberg (Steven), Kathryn Andres (Ronald), Jean Van Syckle (Larry), Susan Kent (John), her son Thomas Stangeland, eight grandchildren, Sonja, Matthew, Lisa, Jason, Carianne, Jessen, Dana, Dylan, and eight great grandchildren, Kelsey, Silas, Nora, Callan, Karly, Myla, Otis and Wilder. She is also survived by two sisters, Jeannine and Barbara. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Courtney and Erika and a brother Frank.
A period of visitation will be held from12:30 PM – 2:15PM, Friday, May 31, 2024 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, followed by a funeral liturgy at 2:30 PM, St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 7 Eisenhower Rd., Blairstown, NJ, with interment of cremains to follow at the Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825.
