Judy Greko, 79, of Evansdale, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 2, 2025. Judy was born January 24, 1946 in Waterloo Iowa, daughter of Wayne Marvets and Mary Jensen Marvets.

In December of 1964, Judy married Stan Scott and later divorced. In September 1988, Judy married Jamie Greko and later divorced.

Judy was a welder for John Deere, a Realtor at Century 21, and a Driver for Straight Shot Delivery and Johannes Bus. Later she enjoyed cleaning and caring for her elderly friends. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She loved taking day trips in the car and you never knew where she would end up. Judy loved Christmas and kept a tree up all year long. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed playing pool. One of her favorite things was sitting on the front porch watching the birds, feeding her very friendly and plump squirrel who would eat peanuts out of her hand. She was usually accompanied by her best friend, a spunky dog, named Dickens that meant the world to her.

Left with many memories are her children Nick Scott (Jody) of Davenport, Jim Scott (Kim)of Waterloo, Shannon Spence (Brandon) of Avon IN. 5 Grandchildren Travis, Traci, Brandon, Darien, Brady, and 5 Great Grandchildren Lexie, Skyler, Kyran, Landon, Kinley. Brothers Steven and Roger Marvets, Sister Rosemary Wilson, and a special lifelong friend Annette Tranby.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Michael and Ronald Marvets.

Services will be held at New Day Church, 644 Home Acres Evansdale, IA at 10:30 a.m. March 15, the family will greet starting at 10 a.m. A luncheon will be held at the Amvets following the services.
