Patricia Anne Trask, 88, of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born on July 6, 1937, in Brooten, MN, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jo (Reicherts) Bunston.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Schools and graduated in 1956. Patricia married Charles L. Trask on June 13, 1964, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.
Patricia was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and football. She loved attending her grandkids' events and get-togethers with her friends.
Left to cherish her memory: two daughters, Connie Trask of Waterloo and Anne (Jay) Usher of Cedar Falls; one son, Michael (Lynette) Trask of Kansas City, KS; and three grandchildren, Cody Trask, Kelsey (Rich) Valenzuela, and Lucas Usher.
Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Norma Jean; and her parents-in-law Arthur and Blanche Trask.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., on Thursday, October 9, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
