Richard Vernon Coleman was born on June 3rd, 1943 in Waterloo, IA. He passed away on October 2nd, 2025. He was 82 years old. Richard had suffered from dementia in the last years of his life. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; Vernon and Velma and by his brother; Gary. He is survived by his children; two sons, David and Andrew (Gail), and his daughter, Augusta (Keith) Grimes; his grandchildren; Patrick, Jessie, Addison, Zachariah, Dallas, Tyler and Austin; a niece, Martha; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Garden of Memories in Waterloo on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11am.
