Reeseville, WI - Larry G. Neigel, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Military honors will take place immediately following the service. Larry Gene Neigel was born on July 2, 1961, in Orrin, ND, the son of George and Rebecca (nee Pollard) Neigel. He graduated from New London High School in Connecticut in 1979 and went on to serve in the United States Army as Hawk Missile Crewman. He worked at Tire Service in Connecticut for a decade before moving to Wisconsin. Larry built a respected career in maintenance, contributing his expertise to Fisher-Barton, Seneca Foods, and Specialty Cheese in Reeseville. He found lasting happiness when he married Lynda Scharp on December 11, 1999, at the Watertown Conservation Club.

Larry had a deep sense of patriotism and a lifelong passion for sports. He especially loved watching NASCAR, with the highlight of his year being Joey Logano's 2024 Cup Series victory. Larry also enjoyed the thrill of go-karting and riding mini bikes, hobbies that reflected his adventurous spirit.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lynda; mother, Rebecca Neigel; children, Christopher, Anthony, and Elizabeth of Connecticut; Nathaniel, Jeremiah, and Joshua (Tricia) Derr; grandchildren, Couper, Rowen, Roslyn, Emma, Zoey, and Molly; siblings, Glen (Sharon) Neigel, Brenda Carter, Susan (John) Kelly, and Tommy (Amy) Neigel; as well as nieces, nephews, mother-in-law, Audrey, brother-in-law, Dan (Greta), other relatives, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Donna Neigel, and his father-in-law, Herman Scharp.
