Groton - Rebecca Jo Neigel, 83, of Groton, entered eternal life July 7, 2025, in the company of her loving family. She was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Pelzer, S.C., the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Wellborn) Pollard.
All funeral services are private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care. A complete obituary will appear in Sunday's edition of The Day.

To all the Neigel family,,Sorry to hear of of your moms passing.. she was a wonderful person...a second mom to us kids growing up on Broad st..There´s so many memories from letting us all hang out on the ft porch,the rides in the station wagon to the beach or donuts on Colman st. And so many,many more..
