Lorraine Mohr Obituary

Johnson Creek, WI - Lorraine E. Mohr, 95, of Johnson Creek, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at The View at Johnson Creek.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Peter Wells officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown. Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown is serving the family. Lorraine Evelyn Reichert was born on March 15, 1928, to Max and Hilda (Schlesner) Reichert on the family farm-ette in Farmington. On May 21, 1955, she married Victor Mohr. They were very active members of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Farmington until Victor's passing in 2007. Lorraine transferred to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown. She had worked at the Mid-State Shoe Factory, Watertown Packaging, and the Ira L. Henry Box Factory. After she retired, she spent her days being a homemaker. She loved to sew and bake every week for her loved ones. She would spend her free time with her grandchildren, helping care for them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons: Randall Walter (Frances) Mohr of Juneau, Allen Larry (Brenda) Mohr of Watertown; eight grandchildren: Kimberly (Stephen) Trudell, Miranda Mohr, Eric Mohr, Alyssa (Zach) Schickert, Robert Mohr, Anthony (Michala) Chesmore, Henry (Ronni) Chesmore, and Lucas Chesmore. She had 3 great grandchildren Frankie, Freya, and Bo; two sisters: Ruby Wolf, Delores Schuenke; sisters-in-law, Melinda Reichert and Charlotte Baars as well as other nieces, nephews and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vic Mohr, one grandchild, Caitlyn Mohr, a brother, Roger Reichert, and sister, Ethel Boltz.

Lorraine was kind to everyone she knew and will be terribly missed.
