Ruby R. Wolf

1932 - 2024

Jefferson, WI - Ruby R. Wolf, 91 of Jefferson, passed away peacefully, on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek, surrounded by her family.

Ruby was born in the Town of Farmington, WI to Max and Hilda (Schlesner) Reichert on July 14, 1932. She was a graduate of Johnson Creek High School in 1949. On October 21, 1950, Ruby married William "Bill" Wolf at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Farmington. Ruby farmed with her husband, Bill, in Helenville until 1989, when they retired to Jefferson. He died in 2013. She was a member of Helenville Homemakers for many years. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and watching her boys play baseball on Sunday afternoons. Ruby liked to quilt, embroider, and read. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Helenville.

She is survived by: her children Jeff (Irene) Wolf of Conover, Susie (Ed) Stoltenburg of Jefferson, Steven "Emil" Wolf of Johnson Creek, and Brenda Riedl of Cottage Grove; 9 grandchildren Brian (Janette), Tom (Christie), Rachel, Zachary, James (Hannah), Britney (Nick), Laurie (Jeff), Sara (Jerry), and Brenda (Bill) , 10 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Rhonda Wolf of Sauk City; sister Delores Schuenke of Jefferson; in-laws Melinda Reichert of Oconomowoc, Mary Kuhl of Baraboo, and Jack (Elaine) Wolf of South Carolina. Ruby is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, children Karen Wolf in infancy and Tim Wolf in 2013, brother Roger Reichert, and sisters Ethel Boltz and Loraine Mohr. Ruby is also preceded in death by other family members.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Jasmine and Abby of Fort Hospital and the staff of the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center for their "WONNNNDERFUL care!"

A Christian funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Helenville, with Rev. Titus Buelow presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. She will be buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery of Farmington following the funeral service.
