DONNA HAGGARD Obituary

DONNA HAGGARD Donna Mae (Wolf) Haggard of Stoddard, Wisconsin, formerly of Wellington Kansas, passed away on September 20th, 2023 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Herman Wolf and her sister Dena Orozco. She is survived by her sister Deborah Miller. Donna is survived by her husband Dennis Haggard with whom she celebrated over 54 years of marriage. Donna is also survived by her children, Heather, Travis and Teneille along with her beautiful grandchildren. Donna graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Governors State University, Illinois she earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Before her retirement she was the Associate Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin where she had worked for many years. A woman of many interests, Donna loved flowers and took great pleasure in her gardens. Donna had a keen fascination with antiques, specializing in collecting historical glassware. Among her numerous talents, she was very skillful at quilting and she created a remarkable array of quilts and works in fabric throughout the years. Many of these exquisite pieces were custom made for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The Gift of Life Transplant House, Rochester, Minnesota.
