Carol Benson Obituary
February 18, 1937 - February 16, 2025
Carol quietly passed away on February 16th 2025.
Victoria and Joseph Cagley welcomed Carol into the world on February 18 1937 in Wenatchee Washington. Carol graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1955 and soon married Lee E Benson, love of her life. They had two children, a son Curtis and daughter Lori. Carol loved her banking career with Bank of America and SeaFirst. After she retired her and Lee took many trips in their RV around the country, spending time in Mexico and a final favorite spot in Arizona. When Carol and Lee weren't traveling she loved volunteering for Serve Wenatchee, the Seventh-Day Adventist Community Center and spending time with her family. Carol loved baking and sharing her goodies with family and friends especially at Christmas time. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Roy (Joyce) Czlapinski and Darrell (Mary) Czlapinski, and sister Sharon Applegarth. Carol is survived by their son Curt (Brenda) Benson, Daughter Lori (Bruce)Reathaford, brother in-law Larry Applegarth, and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will miss her love, kindness and laughter forever.
The family would like to thank Confluence Health, the caring staff of both Hospice of Confluence Health, Tuscany Cottage in Malaga, and Telford Chapel of the Valley, who were all so special and compassionate. As per Carols request no service will be held. She will be laid to rest next to Lee at the Wenatchee Cemetery.

My family and I met your mom at Tuscany Cottage when my mom lived there. My mom enjoyed your mom very much and we did, too. What a lovely person! I am sorry to learn of her passing.
