In loving memory, Richard Leroy Baldwin, born Jan. 24, 1929, passed away in Wenatchee, WA on Dec. 29, 2024 at the age of 95. Richard was born in Rice Lake, WI, parents Leon and Wilma Baldwin had a family dairy farm. He has two surviving brothers, Harry Baldwin and Leon Baldwin, deceased siblings, Leona Smith, Loraine Hansen, Elenore Chermack and Robert Baldwin, all lived long and satisfying lives. At the age of 11 he lost his father to a fatal rupture, shortly after he found his way to Entiat, WA where he graduated in 1948 where he proudly painted their graduating year above the Entiat River, after serving active duty he returned to Washington where he found employment with the Boeing Co. This is where he met Marilyn Edenholm who became his wife and mother of the three children, Richard, Tamela and Rebecca where they made home in Bellevue, WA. He was transferred to 747 program at Everett, WA, so he had a home built in Cathcart, WA, he had a dream to own a country store, he found that dream in the Baring store, which he purchased in 1972 and owned until 2017, Jean-Ann came along and they comforted one another until her passing, his love for the Entiat Valley will never die within the eyes of loved ones. We all will remember trips to Entiat Falls, Silver Falls, Burns Creek (Dicky Creek) and Tyee Lookout. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Cassandra, Christopher, Jadrian and Melissa; along with eight great-grandchildren, forever in our hearts RIP.
