Robert Mitchell Obituary
August 25, 1941 - August 18, 2025
Robert "Bob" Mitchell, 83, of East Wenatchee, Washington, went to be with the Lord on August 18th, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Born August 25, 1941, in Wenatchee to Dorothy and Albert Mitchell, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda Williams, in 1960. Together they raised two children, Lori Reed and Rob Mitchell Jr.
Bob is preceded in death by his son, Rob Mitchell Jr.; his parents, Dorothy and Albert Mitchell and his sister, Patty Lee Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his daughter, Lori Reed; his sister Patty Lou Smith; his son-in-law, Michael Reed; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Matea) Reed, Lauren (Alex) deCillia, Christine (JJ) Jahr; his great-grandchildren, Lennon and Camille deCillia; and the entire family compound.
A graduate of Eastmont High School and Central Washington University, Bob founded Mitchell, Reed & Schmitten Insurance Agency, leaving a legacy of hard work, kindness, and community service. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and most of all, time with family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th at 1 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 200 S Kentucky St in East Wenatchee, Washington. A viewing will be held Thursday September 4th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bob to Faith Presbyterian Church in East Wenatchee: https://www.faithpreseco.org/give.
Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

I met Bob and visited with him frequently at Rotary. My condolences to his family. I am not sure how long Bob was a Rotarian, but I enjoyed visiting with him when I saw him. He will be missed.
