Terri Lynn Jump, 62, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Entiat, WA. The youngest of six siblings, she was born on June 2, 1962, in Danville, IN, to William and Julianne Jump.
After graduating from Zionsville Community High School in 1980, Terri joined the California Conservation Corps in Yountville, CA, then later the Young Adult Conservation Corps in Lake Tahoe, CA. Ultimately, she became a permanent employee of the United States Forest Service (USFS), where she retired in 2021, after 30 years of service. Terri held various positions while working for the U.S.F.S., including working on a fire crew, working in the maintenance crew interpretation program, and working in the timber department. In addition to California, she also lived and worked in Montana and Washington.
Terri loved nature, spending time with her family and friends, and going on walks with her dogs, Buddy and Jocko. She also enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, playing euchre, working crossword puzzles, and baking pies.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents: William and Julianne Jump; and her sister-in-law, Diana Jump. Survivors include siblings: Rhonda (Chuck) Hibbert, Connie Jump, Rebecca Warner, Cynthia Languell, and William Jump III; nephews: Mitchell (Markeeta) Languell, Justin (Stephanie) Jump, William Jump IV, and Brittian (Kassi) Warner; niece, Jessica Riedel; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Terri's free spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed and she will forever be remembered in our hearts.
